Dale Binkerhoff has recently joined our team as the Project Manager for Port 15 Utah. His experience with infrastructure and large project management has been honed through his experience as a facilities manager at Southern Utah University. Responsible for campus planning, design, and construction management.

Before coming to Quantum, Dale was developing SUU’s $13 million plus Education Facility project which includes remodeling a historically sensitive older facility while simultaneously constructing a new facility. He also oversaw the $8.6 million Eccles Learning Center which provided 300 new beds for SUU students. Project included computerized learning centers, connectivity and residences.

Some of his most recent construction projects include more than $12 million in building projects at SUU. They are as follows Parking Lot Addition, Braithwaite seismic repairs and renovation, Eccles Living/Learning Center housing addition, Technology structural repairs, Alumni/ Art Gallery renovation and retail outlet. He also worked to complete the campus facilities hazard materials surveys with DFCM funding and assistance, communicated with the Building Board and DFCM to seek funding and coordinate projects, annually evaluate parking lots and roofs on campus for needed repairs and made sure proper infrastructure was available at each project.

He has chaired numerous interview committees including most of the professional staff positions in Physical Plant, provided training in groups, individually, one on one and specialty equipment seminars and made sure that job performance was a daily observation and classified staff employees receive an annual evaluations.  Dale has also served our community in many elected and appointed positions. He is currently serving as a member of Cedar City Council. He has severed as member of Iron County Planning & Zoning, a Kane County Commissioner, South Central Telephone Board of Directors, and the Orderville City Council. He has severed as an appointed member of Cedar City Library Board, Utah State Building Board, Cedar City Regional Airport Board, Cedar City Waste Water Treatment Plant, Executive Board, Governor's Appointment, Utah State Energy Council, and Kane County Planning and Zoning Commission.
